The S. Dale High Family Foundation Announces Scholarship Winners
August 5, 2015—The S. Dale High Family Foundation recently presented scholarship awards to Logan Santiago of Lancaster, PA, and Kelly Liebl of Ephrata, PA. Both students have been awarded $20,000 scholarships, which provide $5,000 per year for four years.
Logan Santiago – daughter of Lucinda Santiago, Administrative Coordinator with High Associates Ltd. Logan graduated from McCaskey High School where she was Concert Mistress and President of Orchestra, Alto Section Leader and Vice President of the Vocal Ensemble, a member of Chamber Choir, a member of Marching Band, and has participated in high school musicals in grades 9 – 12. In addition, Logan is a member of the Lancaster County Allegretto Youth Chamber Orchestra and has participated as a violin helper and mentor in community organizations like Music for Everyone and Strings for Success. Logan plans to pursue a degree in Music Education from Gettysburg College.
Kelly Liebl – daughter of Mike Liebl, Technical Assistance Manager with High Company LLC. Kelly graduated from Ephrata High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society, the German National Honor Society, was Team Captain of the Basketball Team, Captain of the Outdoor Track and Field Team, Captain of the Soccer Team, and participated in Cross Country. Outside of school, Kelly is a member of Religious Education at Our Mother of Perpetual Help, she is Assistant Coordinator of the Ephrata Dodge Ball for DIABETES Tournament, and she participated in Mini-Thon and Burpees for Breast Cancer. Kelly plans to attend St. Joseph's University where she will study Economics.
The S. Dale High Family Foundation is a non-profit organization that was established by members of the High Family. The Foundation's overall mission is to give back to the community by providing support to non-profit organizations in communities in which the High®companies do business and assist High co-workers in meeting the costs of college education for their children through The S. Dale High Family Foundation Scholarship Program.
