Rick S. Scheetz has been appointed president of High Concrete Group LLC.  In this role, Mr. Scheetz will be responsible for the overall operating effectiveness, strategy, and industry leadership of High Concrete Group.

A resident of Phoenix, Maryland, Mr. Scheetz was previously employed with Carmeuse North America in charge of the Industrial Sands business unit, and he also served as vice president with Lafarge North America, the largest diversified supplier of construction materials in the United States and Canada.

Mr. Scheetz is a graduate of The University of Delaware where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology.  He subsequently earned a Masters degree in Mining and Engineering from Penn State University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland.
