Greenfield Architects is working on a new design for the Penn Wells Lodge located in Wellsboro, Pa. The project consists of a four-story, 40-guestroom hotel addition and lobby renovation to the existing Penn Wells Lodge.

The new addition will be a separate building except for a connection/link to the existing lodge. Work will include interior and exterior renovations to the existing building. Work includes (but is not limited to) new guestrooms, hotel elevator, developed courtyards, renovated public restrooms, lobby renovation including mezzanine, monumental stair, food prep limited-service kitchen, pantry, market area, business center, reception desk with waiting area and fireplace, porte cochere, MEP systems, elevated walkway removal, precast concrete stair at walkway removal, and site work.

Construction is anticipated to begin in July 2011.
